EastSquare ArtWorks' historical upfit of an old bakery factory has contributed contemporary art and design to the historic beauty of downtown Salisbury. The award winning remodel of this 20,000 sf building features gallery and studio space on the first floor, while the second floor houses the sophisticated urban lofts the artists call home.

The Design Hub facet of ESA's vision brings diverse professional and emerging artists together with architects, interior designers, developers, community planners, urban pioneers, educators and art lovers.

ESA's Design Hub will provide a venue for round-table discussions, think tanks and workshops leading to arts-based community collaborations both in North Carolina and throughout the U.S. These collaborative interactions will result in original works of art created for commercial, residential and community projects.
